
I wrote this over a year ago for the first birthday of the daughter of a friends couple. It's a free translation of that children's song:

I'd really like to make more such simple things. I am sort of half-working on an elven children song using the "play names for the fingers" as Tolkien has noted them - sort of a counting rhyme.
