A Sindarin version of a haiku by Tomas Tranströmer, this year's Nobel prize laureate in literature:

Anor pâd tovon.
I morchaint vín hi neryth.
Fergar panath lûm.

tovon: I feel that this "Ilkorin" form is better fitted to the phonology of 3rd age Sindarin than the Noldorin tofn
*panath 'all' = 'everything', collective plural from the adjective pân, modelled on siniath from sein

That is a very nice piece, findegil, if you can say that about such a 'dark' poem
I keep finding it amazing that with such few words a whole athmosphere can be conveyed.
