Than?

Than?

Aiya Ilquen!
I was wondering, does anyone know of an attested Quenya form of 'than'? I looked in the wordlists from Helge Fauskanger's website but it's nowhere in there. It's kind of odd, since 'than' is such a basic word, but I suppose Tolkien was bound to forget a few words. That or it just hasn't been published yet. Or, as a third possibility, it is out there somewhere and I'm just not acute enough to find it. :-#

No exact counterpart exists; instead you use either epe 'before' or 'beyond', e.g. ancalima ep' eleni 'brighter than stars', calima lá B 'brighter than B'. epe seems to be the less ambiguous choice, since is also used as a negation.

Thanks Findegil!
I was surprised when such a crucial word seemed to be missing, but thankfully there's often a roundabout way to get the same meaning.
